Unhappy Sad News

Greg ;

You've been a real inspiration to many here .

I'm sure you're going to miss this old beast .

I was looking at a Suzuki Kamakazi last month, Los Angeles car, low miles and still paper thin with rust every where .

I'm sure you'll like that one too, they're great little trucklets .

Thanks Nate, that means a lot! =)

I am for sure going to miss VIN. We've had some really fun times and he's got a ton of character. If I had the space I wouldn't be selling him!

I might be back in a Mercedes Diesel again someday, I've enjoyed my time for sure.

As for the Samurai, mine has some rust here and there- some body issues. Nothing too bad that I've seen- it's a New England car so to be expected. Price was right, color right and it was local so I sprung for it!

Car payment arrived today for VIN and unless it doesn't clear- VIN is sold!

I sold the car to a Warner Bros. Production company and VIN is now going to be a Hollywood prop. No joke. Look out for VIN on the upcoming show Castle Rock based on the Stephen King (Mainer!) story coming 2017/2018 on Hulu!

Project Smokey Wagon is officially over! I will miss my boy "VIN"!

VIN is officially on his way to a production studio in Mass for the upcoming Hulu show Castle Rock - Whoa!

Not only that- but Macy's Deptartment store contacted me through my Craigslist For Sale (same as the Warner Bros. people) and they hired my car for a photoshoot. Seriously.

I had to drive two hours to get to the location, they put me up in an all expenses paid second floor ocean facing suite and paid me serious chunk of cash for my time and to shoot VIN for < 2 hours.

VIN is going to appear in some sort of advertisement for Macy's this winter- when I get the final AD I'll post it up!

Been quite the amazing experience selling VIN, first a photoshoot and then I sold the car to Warner Bros. Absolutely unreal! Let me know if you spot my car on TV or in Print =)

That's pretty amazing.

Pretty sure the 300TD is a car that transcends it's line of models as something as it's own. thing.
