Offset Woodruff Key for Cam Timing: 615, 616, 617 - 4 Degrees
Pelican only lists 2, 3, and 5 degree keys, and I've seen it said here that those three are the only ones available now. Just got back from the local Albuquerque MB dealer and ordered a 4 degree key from them.
Part # 621-991-01-67 Price: $16.20 list So it's still out there, for anyone who might want one. Searched for it on Pelican and it's listed as "a special-order, non-returnable, Mercedes-Benz part".

When you use the 2mm method in the Service Manual you get your results and look in the Manual and you can read which key to use and I think there is part numbers their also but I am not entirely sure as I have not looked for a long time.
This if from my notes so you can see it depends on which way you are looking at it. A 2 degree Offset Woodruff Key changes the Crank 4 Degrees so I suppose depending on how you are looking at it it could be called a 4 degree Woodrufff Key. 5 Degrees Offset Woodruff Key 1.3mm = 10 deg. at crank Offset woodruff key for correction of cam timing. 3 Degrees Offset Woodruff Key 0.9mm = 6.5deg. at crank 2 Degrees Offset Woodruff Key 0.7mm = 4 deg. at crank

Ah, now I see that Pelican has the key I needed after all.
The FSM (05-215) lists the keys in terms of their correction at the crank, while vendors list them in terms of correction at the cam. This has been confusing me, and now I see I've ordered the wrong key for getting the needed correction (I want 4 degrees at the crank, 2 at the cam). Now it makes sense to me: - 0.7mm 621 991 04 67 - 4 degrees at crank, 2 degrees at cam; - 0.9mm 621 991 02 67 - 6.5 degrees at crank, 3 degrees at cam; - 1.1mm 621 991 01 67 - 8 degrees at crank, 4 degrees at cam; and - 1.3mm 621 991 00 67 - 10 degrees at crank, 5 degrees at cam. Shoulda seen that before! Thanks for the replies, Diesel911.
