A rock the size of a pen tip peirced through the glass on my W123 eurolense causing the glass to chip and break on the inside part of the glass cover.

Europa G-wagen, where i bought the lenses, quoted me $94 for that glass peice which is sold separately, but they had no idea if it was a repair i could do myself- considering sealing and everything - or maybe it is a factory job.

performance products quoted me $75. they also don't know anything about the repair.

all of this, the same day i receive my griot's garage lense film to protect them from this very incident. GRR!

has anyone done this or does anyone know a place to get these glass peices that cover the lenses?

also, does anyone know how to make the repair!?
