Removing an ADA from a NA 300D

Asking another question on an older "smog" device....Not sure if anyone has ever done so and what the results are??

An ADA comes on non turbo engines part # 278 in photo...

So I have a euro and US spec car. On the euro there is no such thing and I only get black smoke on really steep grades but letting off the throttle reduces the smoke...

On the US spec car I get zero smoke but I SWEAR judging by the speed in the euro I shouldn't be crawling up an incline at 35mph...

This is a used ip that came from a JY car...the ADA was capped when I installed it....later the little tube started leaking oil...odd...

Well that should be enough info as to why I want to remove it...so that A I have full control of fuel and B hopefully a little increase in power...

The main question, has anyone ever removed one? and would this cause excessive smoke at all speeds/altitude....also wondering if I have to cap where it came off?

Here's a pdf that explains this odd feature...
