This little piece was a bugger to get out..It was like a wedge..tight in its hole..With a very small screwdriver was able to pry it out of there a small amount and then the rest of the way with a pair of needle nose pliers..

This little plastic part sets in the intermediate plate..As the manual says, just squeeze the little tabs on the side in and it pops right out of there..

The lower cover and intermediate plate are upside down in comparison to the way it was pulled off the transmission setting on the bench..

You unscrew this little plate with the 4 screws and the intermediate plate and lower cover separate from each other..The IP lifts up and there is no balls, springs or anything like that ..that can go off to no where ville..inside the lower cover...EXCEPT these 3 little parts in the next post

After lifting up the Intermediate plate and set it aside, you see the inside of the lower cover..These are the 3 parts inside to take out for now..Nothing else is loose or sproing prone..
