Pre filter O ring size?

Hi all,

I have temporarily patched up my OM606 powered E300 using a few spare O rings on the pre filter - the rest of the system is air tight it was just the O ring on the Pre filter.

Apparently you can't buy the O ring separately? Does anyone have the spec of the O ring size so I can find a better replacement than the 2 smaller O rings I am currently using?

Thanks in advance!

There are suggestions about buying a ' variety pack' in the archives..... and discussions about the type of rubber they need to be made of for various purposes....

Thanks for that, I have a full set of O rings but didn't know the correct size I needed, think I stacked up 2 O rings which sealed ok. I have found that all of the other seals are perfect with no air leaks, its just the O ring around the prefilter which had a leak.

Most of the sets of 'o' rings are only 2mm, which let air in hence stacking the two together forced a tight fit.

Go Viton rather than buna rubber, will last longer.

The small oring comes with the pre-filter, the large one is available separately from MB dealers.

Search my name and "606.962 orings", I've posted all of the sizes and counts previously.

Thanks for that, yeah I know that the sets of O rings aren't ideal but its getting me to work and back with no issues so far, I also added a bit of black high temp silicon as a temporary fix as well to ensure its air tight until I get the correct O rings.
