Yes about 7 years ago my dad ran biodiesel in it (50% bio/ 50% diesel) I will look into the miracle mystery oil.

When the car sat around what residue was in the ring lands may have turned to a glue like substance. That perhaps is why the compression was only about a hundred pounds. It could have not been that low when the engine was running before as at that compression number these engines cannot start.

If possible plug In the block heater when adding miracle mystery oil to the cylinders and add a little more each day. I would do this for perhaps two weeks. Then recheck compression. If better then change the oil as the thin mystery oil will have gotten into it. If car starts add some mystery oil to the base oil and drive it.

Buying or working on a car that has used alternative fuels. The longer they have sat the harder it may be to deal with the issues if any that present themselves.

From what I have read over the years about the veggie fuel.... it ought be ' required' that that fact be etched into a window somewhere..... LOL
Or added to the title along with the mileage or accidents.... LOL

To be fair the rings could have just gotten hung up if the car sat around unused for many years. In my experience diesel engines are just slower to seize rings than gas cars.
