Hello, I recently changed out the old style glow plugs to the pencil ones and as a result the glow plug indicator light no longer lights up. Is there a way to make it work again with the new plugs?

This car has a sender unit with a ground connection that is supposed to connect to the last glow plug. As far as I know, there's no relay in this car as it has a pull starter, and the glow plug indicator light is not the saltshaker type. See pictures for illustration, thanks in advance
