Assuming Minds is still with us.
Hard to list all steps, so just a few pointers. Research first.

Don't remove the hood. There are releases, allowing you to point it straight up.

Mark the flexplate to torque converter w/ paint. The holes only align in one clocking.

Unbolt the oil cooler from the radiator and remove it with the engine. If instead you remove the hoses, connect well with hose & clamps, else you will have an oily mess.

I swapped engine w/ tranny in car. Might be easier to remove tranny w/ engine. Removing the starter in the car is the toughest, grubbiest job. But, a post on a bent allen wrench makes that easier. Otherwise, you need a really long 1/2" socket extension to reach those bolts going over the top of the transmission from the rear.

Yes, you can remove just the long bolts thru the engine mount, but you will probably need to loosen the two smaller mount bolts on one mount when reinstalling the engine to get them aligned again.

Don't even imagine you can do a swap in one day.
