The part they gave me was a connector and cable with no pins, i crimped it in with a butt splice, back in business.

I left plenty of length in the cable to install the pins and do it the right way another day. I need the pins and any special tools to remove the pins from the connector, and to crimp the pins to the wires. Is anyone familiar with this?
