w115 300d oil pressure and temp issues.

Hi,
So to start, the oil pressure in my car has been normal until today likewise I was not having issues with overheating (it would go close to 250 then drop back down and not rise again). Today I adjusted my power steering belt because it was squealing. The squealing has stopped but now my oil pressure has started to drop and my engine is overheating. Could this be related?

Also I recently had someone do a replacement of all the gaskets on the car because they were leaking. Everything is great other than the oil filter housing, there is a leak that has grown over the last couple days and I noticed it leaking excessively after I adjusted the power steering. Could this issue cause an oil pressure drop and rise in engine temperatures?

The mechanic mentioned he had issues with the oil filter housing cap and that is the area it is leaking form. He didn't really explain the issue clearly and told me i needed to source a new one. (could it not be tight enough to form a proper seal and thus the leaking? Does anyone know where to source these parts?
