New Video update

Brief purvey of where everything is

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CNn50o271w

It all bolts in for the most part - need a custom trans mount, and to extend the driveshaft about 2 in.

Any suggestions for a larger turbo size? Hx40? 35? 55? I'm leaning towards 40

it's a waste to upgrade the turbo without tuning the pump. you're just going to lose more power than you're going to gain. also the stock intercooler should be upgraded too. an hx35 is good for 300+hp. larger the turbo housing, more lag.

Yes, I plan on upgrading the pump to go with the turbo. For now it is stock - but I understand the dynamics of fuel and air ratios. At least enough to know I just cant throw a big turbo on the block

Thanks for that regarding the Hotset's It's also been suggested that I check MHI turbos out for more accurate maps.

Almost certain you will need to do fabrication, esp w/ intercooler. I have seen a few 606s in '95 124s before but I cant recall if they were turbocharged...

I have prepared for that - it's also been suggested that an AMG bumper allows an IC to fit without cutting. I'm cool either way

I don't like the idea of the fuel heater delete, I would keep that despite the extra connections and increased risk of air or fuel leaks. The heater / thermostat keeps the fuel at a stable and higher temperature. I think there is a benefit to the stability of the fuel temp as far as efficient operation of the IP and injectors, and it also helps to heat up all the fuel in the tank and drive water out of that. Water in the tank may lead to microbial growth (fungus, not algae) which will cause many other issues.

Thanks for your feedback Maxbumpo I will sit down with some paper and think about it some more! Those are all good points

A video showing the next ssteps: shift linkage mount, slip yoke lengthening and the hand brake. I've seen some good looking handbrakes from old Porsche - I'll keep you posted.

I've also picked up a sponsor - if you are inclined to day any shopping for every day carry items check out the link in the video bio. Thanks all for watching and shooting me questions, feedback and suggestions
