If someone has a tip on fixing the cassette player on a Becker let me know! I hate listening to regular radio.
You can usually gut the assembly and install an aux port and/or bluetooth in it's place. I have a 'SoundBot SB360' unit wired into the Jeep's factory radio like that. $20 and I have crystal clear sleek bluetooth.

Maybe Try Pioneer 80-PRS

This last year, after much searching and a couple of other model tries, I went with the Pioneer 80-PRS.

Becker is now stored in the attic, along with the stock SDL head lamps replaced by euros.

If your looking for great sound + all the current bells and whistles, take a look.

The model allows you to process signals to fit the acoustics of the car with crossovers, 16 EQ specific HZ bands , Auto time alignment, etc. Something the W126's acoustics really need. Has a semi retro look. All stock speaker loclocations (dash & rear deck). No cutting.

PM me and I'll send you the build specs including speaker upgrades (not the big box store commercial types). All surprisingly very reasonably priced.

How did you connect the 3.5mm jack? Did the Jeep already have the aux input jack?

I guess one could ship their Becker to Becker Auto Sound to have them install the aux input, and then use this SoundBot to get the Bluetooth functionality.

Whatever you do don't toss out the Becker. I was looking on Ebay and the Becker Grandprix that is in my 85 wagon is $300-$400.

I think the ridiculous price is because they were also offered in 80's Porsches and the value of anything that has to do with a Porsche from the 80's is five times what it should be.
