Oops that should be 05-06

For the 05-06 CDI sold in the US, is there EVER a case where the 11.5v Bosch plug is the correct plug? I know mine uses the 5v Beru. And from everything I've read...including comments from Bosch tech support....the 11.5v Bosch plug is the wrong plug...and that they could damage the glow system. On the other hand, there are retailers like AAZ who sell the Bosch plug for the CDI (but they specify to make sure Bosch was the original plug). And there are people out there selling CDIs boasting of "new Bosch glow plugs," presumably installed by an MB indie who knows what he's doing.

Can anyone clear up my confusion?
