CLIMATE CONTROL ISSUE
Hi everyone, my 1997 E300 W210 is having an intermittent problem with the AC coming on. Some days it works perfectly other days blower motor will not turn on. AC line under hood is ice cold once AC is on when it works or doesn't work. Climate Control system gives code B1233 WHICH IS IDENTIFIED AS PART # B12/1 REFRIDGERANT TEMPERATUR SENSOR. Does the symptom match the part that appears to be bad ? do I have to evacuate the system to change this part. Any HELP would be appreciated.

CLIMATE CONTROL ISSUE
Not an expert but low refrigerant charge can cause those issues. I would start with having that checked.
When it does run is the air colder on the passenger side then the drivers side? |
