Wagon... not so much.

I made that mistake on my camry, then I set off to buy a spindle - which cost me abt 25 dollars lol - and some ancient junked starters with steel field coil holders. Made it easy on the press.

I rented the plates and screw set for another job and found that its kind of easier on some cars like ford fusions where you have to fight the BMW type split arm lower suspension. -

update

picked up a hub assembly from a w190 last week for $20 from a yard at the other side of the state, got it mostly installed last weekend in 20 degree F weather.

finished up today...

after 2 weeks of driving wife's Honda Fit & catching rides here & there, am happy to get behind the wheel of my smokey, rusty trusty benz.

feels so good

thank you to all the members who have contributed to the knowledge base here that have made it possible for me to get it done

i have learned a lot, as they say
