mercedessource includes the heatshields and shipping won't take several weeks... But yea, I might just suck it up and buy them from ebay.

You'll waste more time sorting through opinions here than the difference in shipping. I've gotten them from that german shop in a week. YMMV.

Oh yea, I've seen the uhh... differing opinions... I'm not in a huge rush but I'd like to get it done before I do a timing belt service on my daily driver. Just incase something goes wrong, I can rely on the mercedes (because my 32 year old maserati is, well, probably not the best backup car...).
