Dont know much about the TDs, went to look at one FS today and have a couple questions on repairs/costs.


Seller admits the turbo needs replacing, it whines under load, like a bad bearing. What do these things cost to rebuild/replace?


Rear suspension is low and didnt visibly pump up on starting. Assuming its not a simple adjustment, what are the possible faults? I hear alot on here about some part that is NLA and cant be rebuilt either. What is that part? If it cant be replaced or rebuilt, are folks just trashing the car?
