S123 W123 Wagon Hatch Stops 3D Prints Available

I drew some up back in 2017 and had 3D SLS printed in nylon for my own wagon... things have held up well. These replace the rubber covered bits that are NLA new. It seems I have sold a few thru my Shapeways shop over the years they have been up:

https://www.shapeways.com/shops/dogringandskidblock

If anyone here has bought some let me know how they have held up for you. I adjusted with shims so they nearly touch the aluminum receiver on body when hatch closed. I have noticed no squeaks or rattles from my hatch and the printed parts have not cracked but I do see some scuffing on the surface. Best to order these in black dyed nylon (Black Natural Versatile Plastic)

I also drew the Rear Wiper Cover on the hatch. I printed in White Versatile Plastic and painted with SEM Palomino spray to match my interior.

I'll pick up some, thanks.

I think we may have met at a Charlotte Cars and Coffee a while back. Come say hi if you go to the next one, I've got a couple ideas for some printed parts. I'll have the wagon there.

That's cool. I did the same thing with the piece that always breaks in the hatch latch, but nobody ever wanted any:

W123 Wagon Inner Hatch Release Handle

Probably too expensive and labor intensive for the type of people who drive old Mercedes, and that I understand. At least technology is making this stuff possible now though.

@carson, I'll look for you if I make it out. My wagon is green with gold BBS wheels.
@Rogviler, I'll keep that in mind if mine breaks. The technology is advancing and I'm sure prices will drop as it does.
