OM601 in 1984 190d oil psi problem

Hiya y'all! I've owned a variety of the OM60x cars over the years, but never had one act quite like this.

Oil psi while operating is fantastic. However, upon cold startup, it takes 8-10sec for oil psi to rise above 0psi. As soon as it jumps up, everything is gravy, but those 10sec on each start are making me nervous.

This is a new-to-me aquisition and history is unknown other than that it's been sitting for ~3yrs.

As soon as I got the car, I changed the oil and filter (Mahle filter and 15w40 diesel oil). Upon noticing slow psi build, I replaced both small o-rings on oil filter housing shaft. The old ones were completely hardened and I was hopeful that new o-rings would resolve issue, but they didn't.

What's my next course of action?

Thanks y'all!
Brad
