That was an unconfirmed rumor about sending that guy to the promised land...you just can't stop those rumor mills once they get started....
Maybe I shouldn't have tried to be cute... and said...." You don't give any lip to someone with a record of great answers " ? THat song was 14th in the 1960's decade... and 1st for about 5 weeks in 1961 I think... I only listened to pop top 40 at that time...

Well, the internet sorta took away any questions a forum like that could address.... just go to google and type in the name of the song and it gives you where to find the lyrics... really amazing to me....Who are these people who have time to type in all that information ?
