Does anyone know where (on trans) is the kickdown solenoid - I need to change mine - there is voltage after the switch under the accelerator - but it does not "kickdown" when I floor it - I definitely can hear and feel the "click" when it is pressed. Thanks

On the back side. Follow the wires in the area of the rear mount and crossmember. It's to the right of center.

Is solenoid just before trans oil pan? Transmission shifts smooth. But it does shift quickly - 4th gear by 20mph. Thanks.
