Looks like it WAS palomino, and has gone through the famous pinking/purpling process. What on earth causes that anyway? I've seen tons of palomino interiors that suffer from this phenomenon.

Looks like 'old/faded' palomino...which is more like pinkomino.

Replacement palomino looks like this:

I don't mind the fade... No rips in it at all!

palomino is darker, more orange/brown.

That's parchment!

Those seats look a lot like the pictures I saw of the interior of my car before I got her. I've definitely got a palomino interior...

Color samples can be found here.

GottaDiesel's is definitely palomino. The 79 sure looks like palomino, but World Upholstry says that didn't appear until 1980. And those are definitely pre-1980 seats. So it could be tobacco or bamboo. Best to get the set of free samples from World Upholstry and compare.

What year is your car? According to that web site palomino was not even offered for my 79. Palomino was offered from 80 on. Mine appears to be bamboo. My interior appointments code is 104. Anyone know where I could reference that code.

240Dproject, your interior looks like it's Saddle, at least to me.

There is enough variation in cameras and computer monitors, and the colors (Tobacco, Bamboo, and Saddle) are close enough to each other, that I doubt we can say for certain what color the 79 is. 104 is not a valid number. The numbers are listed along with the colors on the site I linked to above.
