NEED ADVICE RIGHT AWAY. removing turn signal switch from 190e

i am removing a turn signal switch from a 190e tomorrow to place it into my 300d. does the 190e have a panel under the steering wheel that is removable like the 80's 300d? i need to get under there to remove the harness. Cheers
