Talking bought another 300D Turbo

Yo guys, i have bought another 300D turbo 1992. It is very nice, with the hood of an SL and in the back the integrated spoiler.

Here are some pics. What do you think?

My opinion is that it looks like a rice burner. Definitely not something that I'd like. If I wanted a sporty look, I'd go for a real SL series.

Thats difficult man Cause we are with 5 in the family so a SL would be too little for us

BTW i have put the rims on it today ,

It made some noise like tik tik tik, I checked everything and nothing was hitting the wheel.

Later i took the wheel of it, it was dark. One of the plugs was 1mm longer than the other. That was the reason of the noise.

Hey,

funny that you got the same colored 300D hehe.

Anyway,

have fun with it. The spoiler looks familiar. I used to see them on W124s back home (Jakarta, Indonesia). I think they are modeled after one made by Göckel.

P E H,

that is the funniest thing I have heard all day. thanks for helping my week off to a good humorous start.

my guess is about a dozen hoes, the trunk(boot) looks pretty big. i could not see from the pics but i guess there's fuzzy dice and fuzzy steering wheel covers in there as well.

Well what I'm trying to figure out is why anyone would do that to a 300D?! "I've got my diesel race car! It does 0-60 in 12 seconds!" A car that looks like that should be able to do the 1/4 mile in the time our slow dogs get to 60! I know I drive a turtle, so therefore I don't mod it to look like that. Plus I don't like benz's to be riced out. I like the SL hood, but the clear corners, the rims and the spoiler... not for me!

I just saw a very similer looking W124 in the MB accident thread in the open forum. How about painting it black with some nice AMG rims? And maybe a 500E front?
