and it says in the listing that,"The car has an easy damage on the front and back." Easy damage for who?
After looking at the photos I can see why this car would be a salvage.

That SD looks exactly like "easy damage".

The dork was driving in traffic, not paying attention, and he rear ends the car in front of him. Easy. Then, since he has come to a sudden stop, the dork behind him rear ends him. Easy.

Very easy damage when you drive like a moron!

My 350 was replaced by the "updated" engine in '95. 1 qt every 300 - 400 miles presently.

We'll see what the "reinforced engines" are all about soon, Snibbs.

No rod knock yet.

Its not bad at all from what I can see - the problem is that parts to fix it would be 3-5K even if you got them used. Add labor in and you can see why it was totaled.

If you could get one of these with a good engine I think it would be quite a sweet car.

22k to fix that car?!?!

Remind me not get any body work done in Detroit.

From my perspective I'm pretty sure I could fix it for 7-8K tops - how in the world do you get to 22K?

Of course the real problem here is you can buy these cars already fixed for 10-12K...

Its up to $4k now. I have a feeling it'll be bought by some of the "fix it cheap" crowd that regularly has stuff up on ebay with salvage titles in the Portland area. I know someone who has an alignment shop and he gets some of them. They're poorly rebuilt and he refuses to take them in anymore because these guys expect that he will align them at his regular rate. They end up needing so much or they just can't be adjusted within spec. I've seen a few myself at his shop i the past and I understand what he was talking about.
