 I recently had a discussion with my gf's mother (bad news already) about how diesels have come a long way. I told her they are clean, quiet and powerful now...and then I started up my MB and realized that it had a rough idle, injector nailing, and unburnt fuel poofing out the exhaust! I should have driven the Jetta....
