The figures i provided is the figure r from the spex book. Are those figures not all at the crank, on a bench, without any peripherical at 20ºC, 1013 hPa, 70% RH? in other words totaly unrealistic and utterly useless conditions (however being the ones you are always given in a brochure, and the only way to really compare engines?)

JAJA! Looks my benz in never going to get anything over 150 HP.....

How about squeezing a 603 3.0 under my hood? Is this possible? how many ponies does a 603 3.0 throws?

Thanks

Search on "dyno" to discover for yourself where some of us have spent good money generating real-world data that can be used for comparative purposes.

Not without a fight it won't.

Lance, I want to know where you got an extra 20ft/lbs of torque since the last time you ran the rollers. Wasn't it similar to my car? 120something ft/lbs? Do you think that's your 3.69 rearend doing that?

I'd say it's a cross between the manual and the 3.69. I've also done some tweaking with the injection timing, ALDA, and boost settings. The run I did in my TD also had the Garrett, the 240D runs used the KKK.

Did you ever get your's on the dyno after the conversion? I don't recall seeing a second dyno run for you.

My Dyno runs:
1ST 87.2HP-154.1TQ
2ND 96.1HP-137TQ
3RD 102.7HP-148.2TQ
