Water will take away heat faster but can heat soak during long periods of boost, especially on the highway. The water will also always be warmer than the outside air.
Air is never ending, if you are moving, it is cooling. However, the additional tubing length required will add turbo lag. After a hard run, my air-air system's tubes can be too hot to hold before the intercooler and cool to the touch after. |
