Some recent updates at STD. IIRC he had to move the SC and do other work as well.

Working very very slowly.

I changed the SC mount to eliminate flex and end up with a simpler design. It looks crude here but it will ultimately have a cover over most of it giving it much cleaner lines.

I also did a lot of work just tuning the car up with new injector nozzles and setting the timing. It really purrs now!

VERY NICE. I'd buy a panel if you're interested in making an identical one to that. Just PM me or post back.

Ed, I can make you one for $30. I just need to get another hole saw that fits the gauges better. It's a unique size, 52mm. There's a LOT of work on the ash tray to prep it for the install - lots of hand sawing at the plastic. I can post a picture of the gutted piece.

Another option is a 2 gauge panel with the power port re-located to the center between the two. Either is just as easy for me to do because I make the templates on the computer.

I'm also still working on EGR elimination pipes if anyone's still interested. I think I had about 3 at last count.

Quick update on this:

Intake cleaned up and powder coated, valve cover seals replaced and cover painted:

The 7.5mm pump is installed but not calibrated. Idles a little rough but I'll get that fixed ASAP. I'm on the road now and MPG results are encouraging. Looks like no loss of economy so I'm hopeful for an increase when the pump is calibrated.

I have about 1500 miles on the injection pump now and after some initial break in, it's doing really well for not being calibrated.

During one leg of my trip, about 300 miles, I got a chart topping 37.4 MPG!

I was getting quite a bit of smoke as expected but a lot had to do with the ECU not delivering enough boost since the demand curve is way off. I connected the vacuum straight to the wastegate today for fun and it really makes a difference.

Mike are you coming out to Chad's?

Very nice, now you just need a HE351Ve to give it some air. Or, if you go with a vacuum actuated VNT the stock computer will control it exactly the same as the stock wastegate.

Thanks. I'm planning on using the vacuum actuator to control the supercharger bypass. If it doesn't behave correctly in stock form, I'll have the program updated when I have the fuel curve re-done.
