Clearly thats the W123 engine bay of the green wagon. It doesn't even look close to an R107 bay.

what is wrong with a little air tank and compressor in the trunk or under the seat, attached to the intake egr, open valve and dump all .... red lite scenario race

even 1 pis will give big gains for a split second on take off, Keep wot and ALDA will give fuel when needed

wont it kick the turbo in a the butt to get going

boost start building up @ 2100 rpm, your turbo might have problems if it start building boost @ 3000 rpm

I've got the GT22V on this car and I have a nice Holset HE341Ve waiting to be installed on another car (when I find one I want).

A friend of mine has suggested a similar setup. For those concerned with power brakes, that is what check valves are for, right?

I would be more concerned about the poor turbo would not appreciate the extra air coming through its compressor outlet. Maybe another, larger, check valve-like thingie?

IMHO, I think you should try the supercharger.

WOW what a fab job on that green thing. I mean, I love these cars...but why spend SO much time and effort on something like that. Thought it is what it is...that is some amazing fab work.

Put a boost gauge on your car...you say it takes 3000rpm to start building boost - is that just when you start to hear it? If it truly takes that long - I suspect a completely worn out wastegate. You might want to put a boost gauge just off the intake manifold and see some actual numbers.

Technically speaking, a parallel SC + turbo setup presents a NIGHTMARE of efficiency/fuel/boost vs rpm variables...I'd rather stick with one and have a 3D (vs. 4D) map. But if you do decide to go this route, please share all of your experiences, as it is really interesting!

IMHO, if the OP wants to slap a SC to his car, I say go for it. We all have to push the boundaries a bit and sometimes just because it is there is reason enough.
