Interesting, how is the fishing? I may have to make a few stops to check out the local streams and lakes.

The Ozarks is a major hunting and fishing area of the country. Trout, bass, catfish are among some of the favorites when fishing in this area. Some of the best fishing is within 10 to 50 miles of town.

Hmm I am so in if I can get the time, and get my dad to go. 18 1/2 hours straight through with two drivers. I can rack up 2,400 on the SDL in a few days.

Sounds good, we usually have at least one or two father son teams show for the GTG.

I'm going to see if the group, VW & MB both, will start money prize pool for memeber coming the farthest. I'm thinking say $5 per MEMBER, as some ride with others to share expence and driving. What do you guys think?

Also this is open to female members, we have the occasional female VW member show with a boyfriend/husband in tow to the GTG's.

Well I think 1,200 miles is pretty far, but I have never seen that part of the country. Only the east coast really.

Oh Hattie, the Ozarks are beautiful, you'd love that drive. I've driven from Austin to Branson, Mo. All I can say is Awesome sight! You should make the drive. I'd love to do it again sometime.

When I think about the idea of prize for coming the greatest distance, it does seem kind of dumb idea as everybody knows how far someone is coming from. I guess we scratch that idea.

Hell...., I'll bring the Latte machine!

Oldnavy: That's because the US Navy doesn't HAVE coffee!

BTW, UPS delivered your motor to a Jim Harris in Indianna somewhere, despite being asked to return it after NOT being able to deliver it for a month! Looks like I'm out a motor and will have to rebuild and send you another, and you're out the time to get it. I am sorry.

No problem man, hell we ain't talking about a pound of gold anyway.

It would be nice if your pop tester is portable and you could bring it, as there will be some injector swaps on VW's happening and maybe some MB's attending that might need injector work.

Distortion of The Truth

Yes, I received a motor(aux. fan motor??) in the mail while I was out of town.. My wife stuck it in with a pile of boxes. I found it a couple weeks ago. My wife received a call from a lady from UPS asking my wife if I received a motor. She answered yes and the UPS lady said she would call back the next morning and talk to me..Never happened, time passed and she did call back, She asked me to contact you. I sent you a letter because the address(JCG Services) was not on the internet. I WAS NEVER ASKED TO RETURN THE MOTOR AND CERTAINLY NOT BY YOU. UPS NOTIFIED YOU WHERE THE MOTOR HAD BEEN SHIPPED...IT IS ADDRESSED TO ME BY YOU. You never contacted me ever....Why Not. Old Navy give me your address and I will ship you your motor. I just want all to know the truth....Jim
