Everyone meets at Towe on Nov 4th between 11:30 and noon?
Are we going to worry about lunch or play that part by ear?

Cheers and see ya there,

yeah noon it is i think!
there are a bunch of resturants in old town we could go to, or we could drive up the garden highway and eat some where like Chevys, they have a fancy Chevys that over looks the river.

playing lunch by ear sould like a good plan.

So is this going to be just a diesel deal or all mercedes? If all (or the other way) I think I will post this on a few other forums to generate a little more interest.

Should we call the museum and make sure 10+ cars hanging out in the parking lot is ok? It might be good to have a plan B in case they don't want a bunch of cars parked in their lot.

boardmonger directed me to this sticky ive seem to have missed, thanks zack.

Anyone know of a place to fill up on biodiesel in sacramento? i know fattywagons is up there but i dont know if they have bio like in berkley.

But ill be there on the 4th!

EDIT: quick search on biodiesel.org led me to InterState Oil Company, 8221 Alpine Ave.
Sacramento, CA 95826. Anyone in the sacramento area know of this place. It seems that they carry B100 which is good for me

I don't want to turn anyone away, but I think a focus on diesel would be cool.

I like the idea of a diesel get together, but i wouldn't turn away anyone with an old mercedes.

if no one has called the museum yet, i can call monday. maybe they have a group rate on the tickets? who ever ends up calling should ask about that.

I'm there

I am a brand new owner of a 1984 300SD (Oct 7). This is perfect for me. I have some things I need to do on my car and would enjoy a good discussion on work others have done. I also want to find a good mechanic in the Sac area.

I hope to see you there.

I posted info in the Events section, Bnzspot (or wherever the events section is linked to) and Benzworld. So far 1 more guy in Sacramento wants to go as well as a Gasser.

Lets get an official role call going (Username and Car), if you can't make it we can remove you from the list.

Boardmonger - 83 300d turbo or 81 300d euro, haven't decided yet.
62bhp - 79 240d
DieselKraut22 - 84 300d euro (he is over on Benzworld)
patman - 84 300sd
Justinwrock - 88 300te
SirNik84 - 84 300sd
Greasybenz - 87 300d turbo
networkboy - 83 300d turbo
Veloce300DT - 83 300d turbo
Jeremy5848 - 85 300d turbo

Need confirmation from:
Jim B. - 91 560sec
BiodieselLuke - not sure on the car

I'm trying to reach out to other people I know with MB's, so hopefully we can have 15-20 cars!
