Kinda sounds like it. Least wise, no one has made any other suggestions. Looks like it's going to be a small gathering this time. But that's ok for me. I enjoy meeting people from this forum. Has always been a pleasant experience
In the past we've shot for meeting around 11AM or noonish. That gives any that are coming a ways time to get there without having to start real early in the AM.

Here's directions I post for our March GTG:
For you guys coming down from the north:
As you go thru Bellevue on 405, you'll come to a tunnel. It's the only tunnel on the whole freeway, so you can't miss it. At the tunnel be moving into the 2nd from the right lane. Stay in that lane, and it'll take you off to the East I-90 exit. It'll curve down under the freeway(405) and come up onto I-90. Get over a couple lanes soon as you can. The right two lanes quickly become exit only lanes.
Coming up from the south, you're on your own getting to I-90. But once you do that, follow my directions from there.
Once on I-90, watch for exit #13, West Lake Sammamish Parkway. (If you miss it, just go onto the exit marked for Lake Sammamish Park). Exit #13 has two lanes, stay in the left lane. It'll curve around and go under I-90. Stay in the right lane as you go under the freeway. After you go under the freeway, there's a wierd round-about kind of an intersection, but you will turn right and not go thru it. It's kind of wierd to explain, but you'll see when you get there. That right turn will put you on West Lk. Sammamish Parkway heading east again. The park entrance is about 3 miles from there. It comes up kind of quick on you from that direction. I almost drove by it. The sign isn't really visible until you're there.
Once in the park, there's actually several areas to park. But in the past, we've met at the first area to the left as you come in. You'll come in, go past a booth that's never had anyone in it. Just before the road goes around to the right, you'll see a large parking area to the left. Hopefully you'll see a Benz or two already there. (I'll try to get there a bit early)
If the weather turns really bad by then, let's all watch this thread and keep in touch to decide if we still want to go thru with this. I don't mind a bit of clouds and a light shower, but if it's pouring rain, it won't be whole lotta fun. We may be able to get one of the picnic shelters though. You usually need to reserve one ahead of time, but that time of the year they'll probably all be open.

The 4th won't work for me, since I need a months notice to request a day off. The 18th might or might not work for me. But I am not sure if I will attend, depending on the location, it really can't be more than a 3 hour drive from my house...

Is this a diesel only GTG? My 76 is not quite ready to go out on the town yet. I could bring my 89 190W though.

...and just to be sure, this GTG is for 'regular folk' who work on their cars. It's not a concours d' elegance, or show n' shine--right? Both my car and I are a bit rough around the edges, and with my ego being so fragile, well I just couldn't bear it...

I'm looking forward to checking out what ya'll drive. Is there usually a good diesel representation?

As long as it's a Benz or a car with plate frames that say "My other car is a Benz" or "Mercedes-Benz"

Yeah, what Jay said
(We'd even let Eric bring his Subaru )
Well, Eric, you need to let us know I guess. We could put this off till the 18th for ya if you can say for sure you'll come. Looks like everyone is ok with Lk. Samamish again.
BTW, the first time we did a GTG a couple years ago, we made it a "diesel" GTG, and the showing wasn't very big. So now we accept gassers, too, reluctantly And it definately is NOT a Concours-thingee. Bring what ya got, dents, rust, and all. We just love anything with the silver star on it.

There's a UNIMOG that I see driving up and down Kent/Black Diamond at least once every 2 weeks. I would like to stop him and invite him..but I'm scared he might run/go-over my car...

We had a couple Mogs show up last march. Was way cool of them to come! Flag him down sometime. It may be one of those guys that came then take a look at the pix I posted for that GTG and see if it looks familiar.

Rick, I know you are dying to see my Subaru, I know everyone wants to see it . I might bring my Subaru, or I can bring my 300CD, since it's a Mercedes GTG and not a Subaru GTG...

I'll just let you guys deciede on a time and place, and I will try and make it, and if I can't, I can try for the next one (I've got something else I need to do on the weekend of October 18th).

If we were to have the GTG this weekend, September 20th, I would be able to make it, since it is the first weekend I have had off in 2 months

Actually, I'll be over your way this weekend. We're going over to Chelan to spend the weekend with our friends again.
I know what you're dealing with at your job. It sucks working in a retail buisness. My wife works 4 days on, and 4 days off. So every other month she works every weekend. She hates it. But a job's a job.
Since you're booked for both the weekends we're looking at, I guess we'll just shoot for the 4th as before if that's ok with the rest of you guys. A bummer for you Eric, since you're the one that wanted to do this in the first place. I'd hate to make it any later, like into November. Who knows what kind of a winter we'll have this year.
We'll let Eric pick a date/place for our spring GTG to make up for it
