Tech spec data

G'day Folks,

I stumbled on the following site a few months ago. It is a work in progress but if you use google to farm out what you want it has quite a lot of good gen in there => good gen for discussion killers...

...just imagine how you can impress your fellow forum members with serious anorak data such as "er actually after 1983 the 722.4 automatic transmission on the non turbo 300D was optional" - oh imagine the kudos - oh imagine the praise!

Well here's your chance =>

Now you can even quote gear box ratios (it is OK you can have an erection {if applicable})

Search in google with "<MODEL NUMBER> site:mercedes-benz-classic.com" to see if your's is there. More modern stuff like W210 isn't yet.

Enjoy and use the knowledge wisely.

I found this today in the W201 FSM

Details a list of differences between the standard models and the 16V 201.034 chassis

Quite nice anorak material
