I should say virtually rust free. It does have that one spot.

If you'd like to come visit me in Chicago you can see first hand how most late 80's W126 are doing here. They are all rusty junk. My last 85 300SD (bought for $250) had more holes than a block of swiss cheese!

I can't understand why your car hasn't sold either. The price seems fine to me. If I was in the market for a clean 560SEL with as much maintenance as yours has had, I'd have bought it.

If it were in PA, or within a 2 hour drive from me (one way) I'd have bought it by now.
