They feel the same, both have excellent springs and padding. The problem with your Pinkamino seats in the parts car is fading. Purely cosmetic and remedied easy enough.

Rare wagon first aid kit? What makes it a wagon first aid kit? What makes it rare? Just curious.

And yes, please do part it out I need some palamino things.

If you are ruling out a 1980 wagon just because of not having a turbo, I can vouch that the non-turbo models are nothing to really be scared of. Sure it would be nice to have that extra kick, but it's not like you're going to get run over in it.

I daily drive my NA wagon, and have no problems getting on the highway or cruising in traffic. Highway driving I limit to about 75 though, still it'll keep going past that.

Just my 2 cents, I love my car.

The PM's I've received have been returned. The link below is the most honest way to present my wagon as it is kind of a running diary of the car since I've owned it.
I don't know why I've been reluctant to advertise on Craigslist. Lord knows it is often weeks/months in between a wagon being listed. I just don't have a real big desire to deal with some Craigslist folks I guess.
Tyler really did me a solid on those front seats. They are simply as good as it gets.

I joined the "Cheap Wagon Club" officially today. 1981 300TD

Nice Guys...
Yeah i am thinking about Jimmys' and another refurb near me. Its nice to go into a car buy with clarity that this forum provides rather than the BS of ebay or craigslist..

I should have my ride soon and a great new toy!

Non-turbos are perfectly capable. What scares me off is the evil servo.

I never knew how fortunate I was that my '80 wagon had CCU III. Must have been a really late build. 1980 was a huge transition year on many MB models it appears....
