190e 16v

Does anyone know the going rate for a 190E 16V in great condition 90K,
loaded black on black?
A friend is considering selling his...also how desirable is the car anyway.

Price is completely dependant on condition. How well do you know this friend? Does he take care of his cars? A "mint" condition 16V with 90K miles is worth at least $8,000 TO THE RIGHT BUYER, maybe more. The problem is that most examples are far from mint.

How desirable? Depends. Do you want one? They really haven't reached collector status yet (if ever) so book values aren't very helpful. Do some research...check prices on Autotrader and eBay for similar mileage/condition examples, just be aware that asking prices are NOT necessarily what they sell for.

Your best bet would be to take plenty of pictures and post a for sale ad here on this site as well as others. Be prepared to be patient...MINT condition cars with higher then average asking prices will lure the most picky of potential buyers. These buyers will pick apart every blemish and expect perfect service records, no paint/body work, and everything working.

Good luck!
