Can I install new Eibachs?

I have bene thinking about purchasing a set of Eibachs for a while for my E320. However, I am concerned with how difficult it may be to remove and install these... Is this a job a DIYer can take on? I understand you can "rent" a spring compressor from AutoZone. So, anybody know how to do this?
