Anyone found a decent add-on left foot rest to keep feet equidistant (and protect carpet from left foot wear)?

Isn't their already a plastic textured platform against your left foot well wall where you can rest your foot? I'm not quite sure what exactly you are lookin' for...

What you are looking for is also called a "Dead Pedal". Plenty foot rest pedals on the market for BMW's & VW's, have never seen any for MBZ. I would like to have one also.
