Has anyone installed an Erebuni Body Kit for W210 E class Mercedes? How is the fit and finish of the replica kits?

What do u mean by a Erebuni Body Kit? Anyone seen the new LM5 wheels from Lorinser? They look so nice.

Erebuni E210 body kit

Hi Chuck I saw your picture of the Lorinser E320. What a sweet car you have there. Erebuni makes replica AMG and Lorinser body kits here in America. The website is http://www.erebunicorp.com The kits run about $1200 US. I don't know how the quality is though

Thanks Ken. I checked out the Erebuni site, and the W210 e-class 917 kit looks exactly like a Lorinser body kit. I bet nobody can tell the difference. Are u planning on getting a body kit for your car?

ken320,

NOKIA####, a member of this forum as well, has got an erebuni AMG kit on his C-class. On his pictures the kit looks good and the fits are probably the same as with the factory AMG kit (NOKIA#### mentioned something about the skirts not fitting the fenders very well, but that is the same with the factory AMG skirts).
The biggest disadvantage is that the erebuni kit does not have any covers in the skirts for the jacket support...once you have these skirts installed and get a flat tire....you will get into some trouble...
Does the erebuni kit include the front bumper lights as well for the mentioned $1200 or are these not included?

I tried to look at the erebuni page in your link, but could not open it.
I bought a set of used (with minor scratches) factory AMG bumpers and skirts for approx. $500-600...

I think the erebuni kit is rather expensive.

greetingz,

Chuck:
I ordered the W210 Lorinser style kit from Erebuni a few months ago. I had the side skirts painted and installed at a body shop. I am hesitant to put on the front and rear bumpers due to some fitting problems encountered at the body shop. In order to install the front and rear bumpers, the chrome bumper inserts have to be stripped off. The body shop installers had a hard time pre-fitting the bumper pieces and is unwilling to give me a 100% satisfaction guarantee on the outcome of the bumper installation. So I'm stuck with the front and rear bumpers and I don't know what to do with them. Furthermore, I wonder how any ground efffect kit, whether it be AMG, Lorinser, or other factory replica, would fair in an event of an accident. Would the body kits protect the occupants as well as the factory bumpers. I always value safety before style.

So far the car looks nice with the lorinser style side skirts with the front and rear bumper color matched to give it a unified look. I'm thinking about getting a brabus front and rear add on bumper kit, so I can keep my OEM bumper.

Anywone know where I can get the Brabus front and rear spoiler for a good price. I got a quote from Brabus for $700 each.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Ken,

The side skirts were the most difficult to fit correctly on my body kit. I talked to my body shop guys today and they claim that the side skirts are the toughest job on any body kit.(especially MB side skirts)

I still have the chrome strips on my front and rear bumpers. Do u have to take off yours cause of fitting problems? BTW, which body kit did you order? Does it look like mine?

I'll have to get back to you on the saftey of the AMG, Lorinser, Brabus, etc parts.
Also, I think the quotes you got from Brabus might be the cheapest prices you can find. I'm not 100% sure, so shop around.

To ken320,

When you add/change a body kit to a car you are not replacing the "bumpers", you are replacing the plastic decorative painted bumper covers. Those body kits and also the original pieces that you are replacing are for looks only and have noting whatsoever to do with protecting occupants in crashes.

W210 Erebuni Lorinser style kit

Chuck: Thanks for the advice.
Interestingly, the side skirts were the easiest piece to install on my car. After the paint job, the skirts look identicle to the Lorinser side skirt. The only down side to the erebuni kits are that the 2 jack covers on the side skirts are not removable. Once you glue the jack covers on, they are permanent. I can no longer use my OEM mercedes jack due to the installation of these side skirts. Instead I bought an universal style jack to jack the car up from the bottom of the side skirt. This is a little convenient, but it really isn't that bad. If you ever need a replacement on your Lorinser side skirts, the Erebuni replica side skirts are an economic alternative. They only cost about $400 for both pieces.

I'm still shopping for a Brabus front and rear bumper add on spoiler. Let me know if you come across a good deal on Brabus body kits.

I just ordered chrome shift gate over for my E320. They are from Oberklass. I'll let you know how they look once I get them installed.
