Anyone know where I might buy a Lorinser exhaust for my 1986 190 2.3-16 valve? I dont want a Remus since I had one alreadu and it rusted out here on the east coast of the USA. I want a stainless steel unit. Any suggestions? Thanks, Joe

why not cough up the bucks for the AMG unit... its stainless steel.? Also any aftermarket tail muffler can get ceramic coated and will last 4 ever.

Checkout Timevalve's website:
http://www.timevalve.com

I got their center resonator for a 1988 300TE and it works great.

Kevin, What is involved in installing the AMG exhaust and at what cost? Does the rear bumper have to be cut? Also, how are the Yoko's. I have Pilot mxv4's that are a litter noisy. Thanks. shafping@aol.com

Sorry, I am not sure if there ever was an AMG exhaust for the 190. Lorinser models are probably out of stock, also. AMG exhuast is only available for later models usually after 1996 models. Remus may be your only bet. I have been looking and there are very few exhaust for the 16 valve. for the Remus check with www.statusimports.com

The Yokohama dB is the quietist performance tire, bar none. The ride is great and they outperform the replaced Pirelli SuperSport greatly.

I don't know about the 190 but AMG stuff is certainly available for older (mid 80s) models. They don't really ever put that stuff on their websites because most people who are too cheap to buy a new Benz (like me) don't buy a lot of AMG stuff, so they advertise to the people most likely to be their customers, owners of later model cars. If you email them they are very forthcoming with everything available for your car. I got a three page email from them with all of the AMG stuff I could get for my 1986 420SEL. I prefer AMG over other aftermarket companies, but that is just a personal opinion.
