I wrote to these guys a few months back about their wing for the W202

and the trunk blend and got very confusing reply back that might have mean check back in 6 months.

Perhaps if one does contact them, write them in german as they probably lost what I wanted in the translation. Or perhaps they dont ship to the states?

Very aggressive looking kit!! It looks a bit similar to AMG kit don't you think?? But that rear spoiler definitely is out of the place... it looks better w/out it..

nokia8860,

wow...nice ducktail...looks sorta like the AMG one for W124...I like it!

akry,

yup, I noticed the similarities too...but if you check out their site, they actually have some quite interesting stuff...they fitted a SL grille/hood to the W124, W202, and many other model M-B's...the fit wasn't too clean, but it was quite a sight!

They MUST loose that wing. Other than that, the front looks really sweet.

I like it. Looks mean. I'd loose the wheels too. Not my style.

darn you people and you're 124's!
Those look really nice - the first one looks a lot like a newer e-class (210, right? the one with bubble lights...) from the side. I agree with the previous posts though; the wing just doesnt fit (it's almost ricey), and the deep dish rims don't really work - sl's can pull them off, but not really sedans. I'll tell you what though - a lot of people will diasgree with me on this, but i think spoilers look really great with those "euro reflectors" that go between the taillights. I think one of those would look really nice with this sort of kit - add to the aggressive look.

The site works as bad as their kits look like...

Is everybody serious about liking this W124 kit??? I like the R129 fog lights in the front bumper...and the color of the car...

Joey,
Can you post some other pictures of that C class??? I can only reach to the W201 model on their web site and I am curious about that kit... (they added W124 touring trims on the trunk lid and rear fenders???)

greetingz,

Joey,
Thank you for the link.

Even though I do not like these kind of body kits....I think the car looks quiet good at some points... Even the hood and grill look good from a distance.
When you have a close look, the kit doesn't look that good at all anymore. Look at the gap between hood/grill/head light on this picture:

The trims over the bumper/fenders look fairly good and the door and fender panels are unfortunately not very smooth; otherwise they w/could look good as well...
According to Goeckel is the front bumper original with some additional trims and a spoiler...does anyone agree that it looks like they have mounted E-class fog lights in this bumper, or am I mistaking??

The C class kit looks better as the W124 body kit...but still not good enough to mount it on a car...(but that is just my personal opinion).

greetingz,

Hm... SL hood on a W202... Some ppl also fits W126 Coupe hoods(maybe not exact hood, possibly moded)on W124(1985-1993, before facelift, with Euro headlights), which looks cleaner IMO as the inner part of the headlight is totally covered by the grill, and the grill sides divided the headlight into 2 perfectly...

I will try find a picture if I can...

Akry,

As you can see on the picture below, the car besides the silver 300SL is a W124 (conv.) with such a SEC-hood...

I do not like this hood and will change it for a 1994 W124 E-class hood with an avantgarde grill. When you stand in front of the car these SEC hoods look quiet good, but when you stand at the side of the car, the hood reaches to far forward (it sticks out almost as far as the front bumper). I am ashamed with this hood and will replace it before I am going to use the car regularly!!!

I have a similar picture of a 190D with a SEC hood...I don't know why, but when I owned this car about five years ago, I did like this hood...
