Adam:
The kit from PartsShop that I got included everything but thinner spring pads - the whole list is under the "cars" tab above, Sportline article. It has installation pics and Tech comments. It took my tech a little over 1 1/2 days work, as the rear subframe had to be dropped to remove and install the rear Anti-Sway bar, and the exhaust system was removed, and all the front suspension bits were removed (lower arms got new bushings). Figure 12-14 hours labor; I asked him to take a real good look around at everything while he was in there and check out the steering damper, rear lower arm bushings, trans and diff mounts, flex disks, etc. The final labor charge was $720, not counting having it re-alligned afterwards to Sportline specs. The parts cost was similiar to buying aftermarket springs/sway bars/shocks, not counting all the special control arm, sub frame, and sway bar bushings. After about 2 months everything had settled to its current height of about 1/2 - 3/4" lower than stock, probably by the time the new tires wear to the same 1/8" tread as my "before sportline " measurement, it will be just about exactly 1 " lower. Worth every penny to me - every time I drive the car I am impressed all over again with just how flat it corners, while still having a comfortable ride!

I am not sure of the thickness. The part numberts are 201 321 09 84 and 201 325 09 44. They should be available from PartsShop - they were $4-5 each locally a year ago. I didn't know enough to ask about spring pads when I had the kit installed. My tech did, and called MercedesShop, and they discussed which pads would be best.

How bad is the ride afterwards. I'm kinda getting tired of the excessive body lean during "spirited driving". So the whole 9 yards should run about 1,800.

Is there a kit for the W210, that can improve handling.

CaptAlex300e:
The car IMPROVED in comfort on smooth roads, lost maybe 10-20% in comfort over potholes, rail road tracks, cattle guards, and rough roads. Cornering was transformed - it feels more on rails than my friends M6 BMW did! (T-boned by a Buick at 50mph...R.I.P. ). Seriously, the term "body lean" fell right out of the car's vocabulary - on any corner I have tried, it has been as flat as a tech companies short term growth prospects!

Joey, he does not yet have the mosselman kit, but he plans on adding it.

I'm not sure of the website for mosselman, but you could try http://www.mosselman.com and see if that works.

It would be one hell of a car though.

Joey,
Ashman is correct. i do not have a Mosselman turbo system installed yet. the correct website address is:
http://www.mosselmanturbo.com
this website is not very good though. for more details i would suggest contacting a US distributer. i do know they make a twin turbo intercooled setup for an M104 engine.
you can try contacting Auto Plus 650-757-7751 or Korman Autoworks 336-375-1494. if none of these are help i can give you some more distributors phone numbers.
good luck!
adam

Thanks ADAM & Alon....

I agree it'd be a bit of a beast with the turbos installed... I am assuming the existing transmission would be up to the job.. and ideas?

In anycase - the sportline suspension package will the the 1st addition. Plus uprated front brakes... I gott be able to stop the 2ton bus!

Anyway - I'll look to the websites & distributors and see what they say about the whole idea.

Thanks for your help guys.. in the meantime, if you have any further thoughts - let me have them!
