Alright, here's the dilema. I have an '87 300E that I wanna put a remote start in. I found one on ebay for real cheap. It's the avital 3001 remote start. The problem is that avital says that you can only use it on a car that has EFI. So the question I have is whether my car is carburated or has EFI?? I'm pretty sure it's carburated. And if this system does not work on my car, is there any remote start kit out there that would work on a carburated car?? Also, can I still use this Avital 3001 kit in order to simply install keyless entry on my car? It's a really good deal on the system and I would hate to pass it up. Any advise would be much appreciated.
