remus or not

I have a 2002 c240 and i was wondering if a remus exhaust would the do the job for increased horsepower and looks. I am open to suggestions if anyone has better ideas.

Thank You

At about 4,000rpm,its music to my ears.Power? In my
imagination,maybe.

Remus...looks yes, sound yes, power doubt it. A nice upgrade for an older car that needs a new rear can or for the new owner who wants to have that custom look...

Installed remus on my 93 300E

Did a complete system from headers to the muffler. Timevale stainless system from to front to the muffler including that small muffler located before the big muffler. As for muffler, I went w/ Remus.

My opinion:

Looks OK not too happy about where the exhaust tip is situated. The cut out on the rear bumper for the oem ehaust tip is located to the left of the exhaust now.

As for sound, I think it is kinda loud. During normal freeway driving, you can hear the exhaust humming away, gets very anoying.

Appearance is somewhat OK also not great. For the price, you would think that they would put more egineering into the design to achieve that factory AMG look, instead of a slight elevation above a magic muffler shop job.

on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 7. Hardly worth the $1500 i put into it.

Reamus $540
Stainless $600
O2 sensor 200
Labor $300
Oem nuts and bolts $50

good luck! Im very critical.... ( :
