Has anyone used this stuff to clean carbon off valves of older high mileage engines? Do you know where to get this stuff? A German product in a can. Thanks

Not a Cleaner
Brother of The Benz,
Normally any product that ia a:"moly" is a super slick lubrcant. My 1987 300E with 187,000 miles has used "Liqui-Moly all it's life in the engine and differential. In the engine every 30K miles and the differential every gear lube change. To clean the valves and injectors I would recomend Red Line S1-2 fuel additive. Doesn't Performance Products (www.___.com) sell that Lubro-product line? Or maybe it is Bekkers, as well?. Check 'em out.

So right So right

You're correct on Performance Products for that is where I order my "Liqui-Moly". The Gear lube from J.C. Whitney, Chicago. P.P, they do sell all of that product. I'm pleased with the molibdimumdisulphite(graphic), it is a burnishing material that should NEVER be used in a new, not run in engine. The earliest I would use the pure concentrate would be around 35-50,000 miles in a M/B or a Bemmer.(Audiis and Porches as well.) Haappy Trail Beep Beep from The Spiderman in Houston!!! |
