after a number of years, the inside collects dirt and fogginess that can be cleaned up if you are able to gain access...
the clean up often restores lighting effectiveness hope this helps -fad |

BULBS
There are a lot for sale on ebay. I sell the NOKYA and PIAA brand in our stores. The NOKYAs are the bluish and purple-ish bulbs bulbs that appear near white when on. If your country doesn't mind a slight blue tint emiting from the headlights then go that route. we install a lot of 80/100W bulbs in the benzes and it works fine. I would recommend relays if you use the HI-BEAMS all the time. According to NOKYA the 80 is suppose to equal the light output of 100 Watts. I use 90/140W in my car and it is very bright. Buy spares when you do get your bulbs in case one blows out. Looks funny having 2 different colors coming from the headlights when you don't have a replacement.

I added piaa xenon's to my car and they are great. ALot of illumination and a great purple tint. They only downside is they cost about a 150 bucks. |
