Eibach doesn't make the Pro Kit for the 190E 2.6 anymore, should I buy Intrax?

Does anyone have a set on their car?

Help me out guys I wanted Eibach's, looks like Intrax is only way to go.....

Any suggestions???

Thank you guys

You might consider the Sportline springs that were used from the factory!

Doc:

I wish I could man but, I've got tuition to pay for (on my own, thank god I've got an amazing co-op job at Wescast so I can pay it)

I only have around $850.00 CANADIAN (not much) to do it.

I wanted to order the Eibach kit (quoted $540.00CAN taxes in)

I was going to install them in my friends shop, its got all the toys (my friends father owns a Toyota dealership in Exeter, Ontario CAN)

That would have left around $300.00 for a cheapo pair of KYB shocks and struts. I also wanted to go with the 13mm shims.

What is a guy to do now??? Should I get the intrax? spax?

I have heard decent things about the intrax on 2.6s. I have not yet heard a complaint. I don't personally believe that they are as good as the Eibachs but they still give you the added handling.

Check around. I paid $260 USD for my pro kit on my 2.6. H&R are similar to better quality for about the same price. Bilstein sports are $250 fronts and <$200 rears fron thebenzbin.com. There is your $800 dollars.

Shop around, and you allways negotiate a better price. thebenzbin.com may work a package deal. You can allways check with Pat Potomac German Auto for second hand.

Good luck with school.

INTRAX

I have been a Intrax WD for the past 6 years+ since the company was started. (My friend Scott owns the company.) The springs are designed to be used with sport setting shocks. I do not recommend them to be used with stock shocks or replacements.

Call Phil. From MercedesShop.com. MercedesShop.com sell parts too!!! Can Phil help? I don't know...

Call Phil at MercedesShop.com Look in the partsshop section.

MercedesShop.com gives free tech advice, what does the Benzbin give?

Am I being sarcastic? Yes, it is obvious that MBracer doesn't know that we sell parts and it is our primary means of support. The benzbin is a partshouse. We give free tech help....... Anyway, no hard feelings, just have to keep it straight.

No hard feelings but every time I ask for parts you don't have them. I will still ask though.

I appreciate the advice.
