there are two different AMG kits for the W124. Old School HAmmer Style, and Updated style like yours.

I like it.

I'm just waiting on my car to come back fromt he bodyshop with my kti on it. No side skirts for me though, 4 door skirts wont work and are a pain to cut down and fit right.

Alon

Extreme E500 has those AMG Sideskirts on his E500 and they fit...I am installing the same kit as you and the front of the skirt comes out a little.

Yuri-

That looks GREAT!

Can you tell me where you got the AMG kit? I was going to just get the AMG front spoiler ($950) but the whole thing looks awesome on your white 'E'. I think it'll look just as good on my Pearl Black car.

Checking around here, body shops want $1000 just to paint the plastic body panels, and that's if I bring them in.

NR Auto has the AMG kit for $1895.00 plus $1000 to paint. Ouch.

Yuri-

What's the offset on your rims? I've got 17"'s on my 'E' and I wish I had the wider lip. Damn. I was told these were the correct rims for my car.

FA22,
when you get your ride back all finished it will look somewhat unoriginal to you. I will get some E500 body panel and will let all know if they fit better, I think they will.

Craig,
I bougt this kit from Signature Line, they are in CA. They ordered it form Germany and it took about 2 months to get it here in NYC.
The kit is a genuine (polyurathane) AMG, it has all the AMG part numbers, logos, etc. Speaking to my shop after they installed it, they said it was a breeze to install, everything matched up properly and there were no fitment problems. As far as $$$, I payed more than your quote from NR auto, if I remmember correctly I checked with them and for some reason I wasn't sure it was going to an original kit. So I wound up paying more but I have no doubts that the kit is real and quality is very good to excelent, very flexible material. I'm not sure about my offset, but it's what tire rack recomends. I got the rims from them 16 by 7.5, 205, 55. If streets in NYC were better I would not think twice and would lower my ride in a second, put some 18's on and it would look even more agresive. I have aa REMUS exhaust installed i will post pics soon, it gives it that look that is missing on the pics right now

if anyone is interested in calling Nick @sig line he is a nice guy to deal with 800 346 3040. Tell him you spoke to me and ask him for a deal, he is cool and you can talk to him.

Craig,
I'm pretty sure E500 side skirts would work

Yury,

Thumbs up to your car, it looks amazing. I drool over those AMG body kits every time I see them. Especially when they are done properly and are taken care of......just looks amazing.

Really nice!

I don't know about you guys but I love the AMG ducktail spoiler.
Why didn't you complete the look with it?

Here's one with the AMG Aero kit

Holson,
I'm not a huge fan of the ducktail, eventhough it looks nice I think it makes the car look somehow older IMO. I'm thinking of making a custom spoiler, still trying to come up with a cool/original design.

Smile

aaaa Scott,
in no way or form would your ride be refrenced to in my comments. As it has been said over and over again by many W124 Lovers; your ride is super clean and JLO sexy. One of the best looking w124 I ever laid my eyes on. The work that was done on the tail is amazing, unbelievable quality IMO, can't even imaging now much dough you put out

Looks great on ur bentlyesk E5

Regards, Yury
